Message	would do a turbo R&R without pulling the motor, but then they have access to some great tools, etc. Yes, it can be done as evidenced by the factory service manual, but most feel it is generally easier to do with the motor out of the engine bay. Speaking strictly for myself, I'd rather not pull the motor unless it's absolutely necessary.
